Celebrating 200 Years of Beautiful History Made on the Bayou
Join us for an exceptional celebration of art and history hosted by the Dickinson Texas Art Guild in honor of the bicentennial celebration of the city. This juried art show and exhibition will feature stunning works paying tribute to Dickinson’s rich 200-year history.

Artists’ Preview & Awards Ceremony:
Date: Friday, October 11th
Time: 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM
Public Viewing of the Art Show:
Date: Saturday, October 12th
Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Participation Details
Eligibility:
Open to all artists 18 years or older
Open to all DISD students in 6th - 12th grades
To be eligible for the “Best of Dickinson” award, that entry must pay direct tribute to Dickinson’s 200 years of history

Submission Guidelines:
Each artist may submit up to two pieces of artwork.
Artwork must be original and created by the submitting artist.
Accepted media include painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and mixed media.
All artwork must be hangable.
Entry Fees:
$20 per entry for adult artists
FREE entry for student artists (will submit entries through DISD art teachers)
How to Submit:
Registration: All artists must complete the registration form.
Payment: Pay when you drop off your artwork on 10/8.
Important Dates:
Submission Deadline: October 1st, 2024
Drop-Off Artwork at City Hall From 9am-5pm: October 8, 2024
Artwork Privately Judged: October 10th, 2024
Notification of Acceptance: October 10th, 2024
Artists’ Preview & Awards from 6:30-9pm: October 12th, 2024
Art Show from 10am - 5pm: October 13th, 2024
Pickup of Artwork From 1pm-6pm: October 14th, 2024
